Before I started work on my FMP I did a series of illustrations based on film characters, their dialogue and situations. This in a way is what started my interest in parody and satire. The set recieved some very positive feedback on image sharing sites flickr and tumblr. You can see the set by clicking here.
After the series I started drawing anything with a culutral refrence. It varied from illustrations of hideous monsters eating pizza to a crude depiction of Cheryl Cole being attacked by giant mosquitoes. Here are some of the illustrations I drew before the start of FMP which made me think more about including satire and parody in my final project...
